Have you ever wanted to have a go at travel writing? Want to tell the stories of the fascinating journeys you have been on?
On Saturday May 13th, we’re delighted to be running a creative writing workshop with writer Derbhile Graham on the theme of journeys. These journeys could be epic, once in a lifetime trips, or they could be simple trips to the shops. You will learn how to describe those journeys using all of your senses, and you will learn how to put a structure to your story, so you’ll come out of the workshop with a complete piece of writing.
This workshop is ideal for anyone who wants to learn more about travel journalism or memoir, or who simply enjoys telling stories. No previous experience necessary.
When: Saturday, May 13th, from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm (registration from 10:00 am)
Where: NCBI Rehabilitation Training Centre, Whitworth Road, Drumcondra
Cost: €25.00, payable on the day, which includes a light lunch
To register: Contact Stuart Lawler on 087 9926360 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
