Report

The second annual 4 City Cycle Challenge took place this year from 12th-15th September and saw our group of Blazing Saddles once again making their way across four of Ireland’s big cities, namely Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Cork, covering a total distance of 400km to raise funds for NCBI. Leaving the official starting point of the Papal Cross in the Phoenix Park at 12pm on Wednesday 12th September, 35 cyclists, including four tandems, cycled to Tullamore before continuing on to Galway, Limerick and eventually, Cork. Throughout the 4 days, Classic Hits 4FM presenter Robbie Fogarty was keeping listeners updated on everyone’s progress with regular live broadcasts out on the road.

Well done to everyone who took part in this event and who helped raise a total of €25,872 for NCBI. We look forward to seeing you all on the next Blazing Saddles Cycle Challenge!
