History of Tree of Light – Dublin Airport

The NCBI Tree of Light has become an integral part of Dublin Airport’s Festival of Light since it first appeared in 1997. This 50-foot tree, with its 2,000 lights, is a beacon of light and hope for more than one million people who pass through the airport at Christmas time each year. It is the centerpiece of NCBI’s Christmas celebrations and over the 14 years has raised in excess of €300,000 for NCBI’s vital services.

Sponsor a Bulb

Your company can get its name in lights when it sponsors a bulb from NCBI for €500. In return for your sponsorship, your company will receive the following:

• A bulb on our large tree at the entrance of Dublin Airport, Terminal 2.
• Your company’s name on our electronic display board which is highly visible to passengers/visitors to the Airport.
• Your company logo and name on a special section of our website.

By sponsoring of a bulb, your company will also be helping to maintain vital services and support to over 16,500 people living with sight loss in Ireland.
