You have a right to accessible information, services and buildings.

Public bodies are legally required to make their information available to you on request in accessible formats. This may include large print, Braille, or an accessible website. They are also obliged to make their services and buildings accessible to you.

The problem is, few people ask for accessible information, services and buildings. Exercise your rights, ask for what you require.

Your rights when travelling by air and train

For people who are blind or vision impaired, air travel has often been infuriating and confusing, with different rules being implemented by various airlines and airports, leaving people unsure of their rights.

Now there is binding legislation at European level, which protects the rights of people with disabilities and people with reduced mobility when travelling by air.
