On October 14th in Wynn’s Hotel, Dublin from 12.00pm to 3.00pm a national advocacy meeting will take place to conclude the many regional meeting which have been happening nationwide.
At the meeting on the 14th we will:
- Outline NCBI’s new approach to advocacy and the outcomes of recent consultations.
- Issue an invitation to join the “Advocacy Network”
- Consult with you and hear how NCBI’s work could make more of a difference to your life
- Outline the upcoming public awareness “clear footpath campaign” in which you can participate right away.
To date this summer we have hosted 11 advocacy meetings around the country which were attended by 226 people so far. Not everyone could attend the meeting in their area either because the location, date or time didn’t work for them. For this reason the Dublin meeting is open to all.
To book your place by contacting campaigns@ncbi.ie by Wednesday Oct 11th.
If you are unable to join us on the day but would be interested in being part of the National Advocacy Network please email Elaine directly to elaine.howley@ncbi.ie using the subject NAN membership.
