NCBI has today been awarded a prestigious award, recognised as a benchmark quality assurance mark.
The PQASSO quality mark, Practical Quality Assurance System for small organisations, which is a self-assessment tool, was awarded to the NCBI for its commitment to quality in all its services.
There are three levels to the PQASSO quality mark, going from level 1 to 3.
NCBI secured level 1.
The awarding of this quality mark means that our work has been validated by experts in our field and we have been highly commended for our commitment to quality in everything we do.
NCBI has been involved in the PQASSO process since August 2012.

Our commitment towards people with sight loss has been recognised by the awarding of this prestigious award. It shows that we share the vision that people with sight loss have for their independence, inclusion and full participation in society and I would like to thank all our staff who worked so hard towards ensuring that we achieved the PQASSO mark”.
