In this video series, we speak to the incredible NCBI staff in the many departments that make up our head office on Whitworth road.
This week the spotlight is on NCBI’s IT and technology department!
Here is JP to tell you more about how NCBI can help service users get the most out of using technology.
The Eye Clinic Liaison Officer (ECLO) service operates in Dublin in the Mater, Temple Street and the Eye and Ear hospitals. The aim of the ECLO is to provide timely support to patients at the point of, or as close to diagnosis as possible. In this staff video Irelands first children’s ECLO, Hilary Devlin tells us what it is like to do this role and how important it is for children with sight loss and their parents to know support is on hand.
Geraldine is one of our community resource workers with a background in occupational therapy. Geraldine works with adults of working age who are living with sight loss.
In this video, Geraldine takes us through the steps of what a community resource worker does.
Community resource workers are the first point of call for many who work with the NCBI, from assessment through to finding practical solutions for improving the quality of life of those who avail of this service.
If you think you might benefit from speaking to one of our community resource workers, please give us a call on 01 830 7033 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
