NCBI Bridal officially Re-opens in Naas, Kildare

Tuesday 30 June 2020, NCBI (National Council for the Blind of Ireland) will be reopening their dedicated bridal boutique in Naas, Co. Kildare on Wednesday 1st July where they will be able to offer an exclusive number of appointments weekly to brides. With many lockdown engagements being announced and weddings being postponed brides will be anxious to get their planning back underway. Gowns in the collection have been donated by some of Ireland’s leading bridal retailers, wholesalers, and designers. Brands include We stock Mori Lee, Dando London, White Rose, Mon Cheri and Maggie Sottero and prices range from €50 to €700. Proceeds from the dresses go to NCBI services to support our work with people living with sight loss.

Aoife Doran, NCBI Area Manager said; “The re-opening of our dedicated bridal shop is a fantastic step forward for NCBI, post Covid 19. The shop will continue to sell quality brand new and preloved bridal wear, as well as bridesmaid dresses, shoes and accessories. We have worked hard to ensure that you are getting the bridal experience also. NCBI is proud to play a part in promoting sustainable fashion and environmentally friendly practices through recycling. So, by supporting this shop, brides not only generate funds for our services but also support our drive for more sustainable fashion, on one of the most important days of their lives.”

NCBI is proud to have over 115 shops across the country and continues to be the second largest charity shop chain in the country. NCBI’s chain of shops play a vital and integral part in the charity’s overall fundraising efforts, allowing the national sight loss agency to provide vital life changing services to over 6,700 people each year, many of whom live in Kildare.
