At the NCBI Board meeting on April 15th Henry Tierney stepped down as Chairman of the organisation and was re-elected to the Board as Vice Chairman.

Margaret McDowell was duly elected the new Chairman of the Board at that meeting. Mrs. McDowell has been Vice-chairman since 2006 and a member of the Board since 1984 and has been involved with the organisation over 30 years.

Congratulations to Mrs. McDowell on her election as Chairman and thanks to Mr. Tierney for his stewardship as Chairman over the last 18 years.
