1st April: NCBI 10k Run
The inaugural NCBI 10k Run was a great success for all involved. It was wonderful to see so many men and women taking part in this event on what was a beautiful day in the Phoenix Park. We have so far raised €11,000, with lots more sponsorship cards still to come. Well done to everyone involved and hopefully next year more and more will get behind this fantastic fundraising event. 21st April: Bag Pack Saturday
The bag pack, which took place in Dunnes Stores in Dublin and Kildare, raised a total of €11,000. Thank you to all the volunteers who took part.
4th June: Flora Women’s Mini Marathon
Our mini marathon team are ready to walk and run for NCBI this June Bank Holiday. We will bring you photos in the next edition.
23rd June: Blind Football Tournament in UCD
NCBI is delighted to announce that our third annual Blind Football Tournament will be taking place on Saturday June 23rd from 12-5pm on the outdoor futsal courts in UCD. Over the last two years this annual tournament has successfully raised over €10,000 for NCBI. Why not sign up a team today to be part of this exciting event. Team entry (consisting of 5 players) costs €50 while individual entry costs €15.
18th - 19th August: Annual Trip to Tipp Cycle
The 17th annual Blazing Saddles Trip to Tipp takes place on 18th and 19th August. Thanks to the work of Billy and Katriona Shanahan, this event has grown into an established part of the annual charity sporting calendar and continues to raise significant funds. With a number of routes available to choose from over the two day period starting from a relaxed family fun cycle to a long cycle of 180k there’s a cycle to suit everyone.
12th - 15th September: 4 City Cycle Challenge
4 Cities – 400kms – 4 Days: become part of an exciting cycling challenge and cycle your way across Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Cork in four days for NCBI. NCBI is now recruiting cyclists for its second annual 4 City Cycle Challenge and is delighted to announce that 4FM’s Robbie Fogarty has already signed up to the event. 7th - 9th October: Holmpatrick Cup
For only €5 per person you could compete for a chance to play in the final of the Holmpatrick Cup at the home of golf, St. Andrews from 7th to 9th October. Club qualifiers are currently taking place. Talk to your competition secretary if your club is not already taking part.
All Year: Parachute Jump
Face your fears and do a 10,000 ft. parachute jump to raise money for NCBI. This event takes place all year round.

Come along and show your Vintage
A Vintage Car Show will take place on June the 24th in St Columbas College, Whitechurch Dublin 16, with funds going to NCBI Retail in Crumlin.
This fundraising event has taken place every year since 1998 and was formerly held in Rockbrook Park School, to whom we are very grateful for the support in previous years.
