Tyrolean Cycle

20th – 26th August

NCBI is offering a very special week of cycling for our supporters around the Austrian Masters World Cup. NCBI’s “hard core” cyclists can enter individually for our chosen distance time trials, while the circuit and marshalling will also be kept in place for one extra day so that we can have our own private race and time trials, including tandem cyclists. There will also be daily cycling excursions built around the main event to enable cyclists at all levels to fully enjoy the beautiful Austrian countryside.

Tyrolean Alpine Trek

20th to 26th August
We are combining our walking and cycling trips to offer a week of fantastic walking in the Tirol, with spectacular countryside by day and welcoming hospitality in the evenings. Combining this trip with our cyclists should make for a fantastic week of entertainment and a chance to catch up with some old friends.

Trek Cuba 2011

The terrain is undulating and in parts tough going, but with amazing views and refreshing waterfalls to bathe in, it is well worth the effort. Trekkers will also visit the city of Santa Clara, famed for the final battle of the Cuban Revolution, the Sierra del Escambray and finally the beautiful city of Trinidad.

B1 (Fully Blind) Football Tournament

Saturday 18th June
This summer NCBI will build on the enormous success of last year’s B1 Football Tournament by having even more people try out the sport for themselves. The tournament will be played on Saturday 18th June in UCD’s Sports Centre, with teams of five players going head-to-head in a series of 10-minute matches. As well as raising much needed funds for NCBI, this tournament will help to promote and encourage people with sight loss to participate in blind football, a sport that is still very much in its infancy in Ireland.

To take part in any of these events please contact our fundraising team on 1850 33 43 53 or email fundraising@ncbi.ie.
