RTE’s Nationwide recently covered age related macular degeneration (AMD) and the research taking place into the condition, as well as the treatments available.

The report looks at the work of the Macular Pigment Research Group, based in Waterford IT and their study into the effectiveness of a dietary supplement called Macushield in treating people with wet AMD.
