The Department’s Disability Sectoral Plan, published in 2006, contains a range of initiatives which are aimed at developing services to give people with disabilities financial security and to encourage their maximum participation in society.

In line with the commitments in the Plan, the Department is now undertaking a review of the Plan. To inform the Review it is important that the Department receive the views and comments from people with disabilities and their families and friends.

To facilitate participation in the review process the Department invites your views on the main services administered by the Department under the Plan by asking you, by 29 May 2009, to complete the questionnaire, which is available online at www.welfare.ie.
