“If Antarctica were music it would be Mozart. Art, and it would be Michelangelo. Literature, and it would be Shakespeare. And yet it is something even greater; the only place on earth that is still as it should be. May we never tame it.” – Andrew Denton

NCBI is a registered charity which was established in 1931. We provide services to people of all ages throughout the country who have varying degrees of sight loss. We have seen a 100% increase in the number of people with whom we work over the past 5 years. In 2003 this figure was 6,500 while today it stands at over 13,000.
We are reliant on voluntary contributions, donations and fundraising as we continue to support a growing number of people who are experiencing difficulties with their eye sight and to develop and expand the range of services that we can offer.
Your support is much needed and much appreciated.
