National Study on Ireland's Public Health and Maternity Services

About the Study

Trinity College Dublin and the National Disability Authority are carrying out a national study which explores the strengths and weaknesses of Ireland’s public health services for women with disabilities during pregnancy, childbirth and early motherhood.

As little is known about experiences of health services – both in Ireland and throughout the world – the study hopes to increase knowledge of such services, so that health and maternity services for women with disabilities can be improved.

Who can take part in this study?

The researchers would like to hear from women with a vision impairment currently using maternity services or who have used these services within the past two years. You must be aged 18 years or over.
