Access and the City Conference is being held in Guinness Storehouse in Dublin on November 20th.
It is being organised by Dublin City Council, the Centre for Excellence in Universal Design and the National Disability Authority, in conjunction with the European Observatory.
This conference will showcase best practice examples from around the world of how technology can be used to provide universal access to cities and towns. The conference will explore the many ways in which universally designed communications can enable citizens and visitors to navigate towns and cities, use public transport systems and access tourist activities.
