Dublin Bus Network Direct Phase 1

Dublin Bus has recently launched Network Direct, a project to redesign their bus network. Dublin Bus is redesigning its network in order to provide a more efficient, better value and more accessible service for all of its customers. Some of the bus routes will be amalgamated and other routes changed. Route changes will not come into place until July 2010.

The areas affected by Phase 1 are Blanchardstown, Stillorgan and Lucan. Dublin Bus will be holding information sessions in these three locations next week in order to give people the opportunity to speak to the staff of Dublin Bus about new route changes affecting them. The information sessions are as follows:

  • 12 May Stillorgan Shopping Centre at 2pm to 6pm
  • 13 May Blanchardstown Shopping Centre at 2pm to 8pm
  • 14 May Superquinn Shopping Centre (Lucan) at 2pm to 8pm

If you have specific queries in relation to Phase 1 or questions about changes to your own journey, you can also contact Dublin Bus on Tel: 01 7033003 or email networkdirect@dublinbus.ie. Alternatively log onto www.dublinbus.ie for more information.

NCBI will be working with Dublin Bus in order to ensure that information about these changes is made accessible to people with sight loss.
