NCBI Campaigns
NCBI campaigns for positive and lasting change for the benefit of people with sight loss. We work with and on behalf of people who are blind or vision impaired at a local, national and international level. We seek to change legislation, policy, attitudes, inequality, injustice and give effect to people’s rights.
Our policy and advocacy work is about giving voice to individuals and groups in order to promote and achieve positive change in relation to:
- Public policy and practice
- Public attitudes, opinion and behaviour and
- Resource allocation.

Become an Advocate – Join our National Advocacy Network
Membership of our National Advocacy Network is open to people who are blind and vision impaired. By joining our National Advocacy Network, NCBI will enable you to play a role in campaigning for change through a range of advocacy and engagement initiatives with the support of NCBI’s policy and advocacy team.
Membership of the National Advocacy Network might involve expressing your views to politicians and other decision makers, sharing your experiences through media outlets and participating in consultations and other events. You can pick and choose what you would like to get involved in.
