Tax benefits
Did you know that NCBI is eligible for tax relief on donations of €250 and above?
This can be either a one off donation or combination of donations totalling €250 or more in one given tax year.
Due to 2013 budget changes, only charities can now reclaim the tax relief on donations, whether the donor is PAYE or self-assessed, at a new combined rate of 31%.
For example if one donates €250, NCBI will benefit an additional €112 on the initial donation.
This scheme is completely confidential.
The new form for 2013 is not yet available from Revenue but you can check their website www.Revenue.ie [6] for updates. NCBI will automatically post out forms to donors eligible early next year.
Thank you for your wonderful support.
