Start borrowing

The library catalogue is available free of charge in large print, braille or on computer disk. If you are not yet registered with NCBI, contact us on 1850 33 43 53.

Placing an order

Along with our library catalogue you will receive an order form, which you can use to list the books you would like to read. We will then send you two of your chosen books, or one talking book, in the post, which you can return by simply reversing the address label on the package and putting it back in the post, free of charge.

Once we’ve received your books or tapes, we will send you more from your list. We can also send you more books each time if necessary.
Non-educational books can be borrowed for one month. Educational books can be borrowed for use throughout the academic year.
