Shop volunteers needed in Claregalway

Monday, July 29th 2019, The National Council for the Blind (NCBI) continues to expand its retail chain, with the latest store scheduled to open in Claregalway, Co.Galway at the end of August. However, volunteers are needed to help with stock and customer service.

June Tinsley, Head of Communications said “we are delighted to have a store opening in Claregalway and call on anyone interested in volunteering with the NCBI shop to contact us. We hope the NCBI store will become a cornerstone of the community as it has in so many other communities across the country. We are heartened to see the ongoing growth of our stores which in turn enable us to offer a suite of services to those who are blind or visually impaired.  By supporting our shops, customers not only generate funds for our services but also support the drive for more environmentally friendly and sustainable fashion and furniture.”

NCBI’s chain of shops play a vital and integral part in the charity’s overall fundraising efforts, allowing the national sight loss agency to provide vital life-changing services to over 6,000 people each year.
