Facts

The tree and its location
This year the Tree of Light will be located at the main exit from the airport and people coming to and from the airport cannot fail to see the tree adorned with 2000 bulbs and the sponsors' name on the adjacent digital display as they pass.

The lights and their cost
The cost of each bulb will remain at €500, and it is hoped that more companies than ever will participate in the project this year.

Donor recognition
Your name in lights! - Donor companies will have their sponsorship of the Tree of Light acknowledged on a VMS display unit and on NCBI's website. This VMS unit will display the names of each donor company at least 3 times per hour over the duration of the project from December to January 2011. Over 1.2 million people using Dublin Airport this Christmas cannot fail to see the tree and the sponsors' names on the adjacent digital display as they pass.
Donor companies will also be achnowledged on the National Council for the Blind of Ireland's high quality website www.ncbi.ie, and where it exists, we will insert a direct link from our website to your own! The NCBI website is accessed regularly by service providers, government agencies and other voluntary groups, as well as our clients, the media and the general public, all of whom will have the opportunity to visit your company's website.
