INBAF, the Irish Braille and Alternative Format Association would like to invite you to an Information session on UEB (Unified English Braille).
UEB is currently being implemented in the Irish school system and will shortly replace the current code for all Braille readers. To find out what’s new, how little changes there are, how this code works in all English speaking countries and more, please drop by and talk to our Braille experts.
Light refreshments will be available, as well as a chance for you to get some first-hand experience of the new UEB code (both reading and writing).
Venue: NCBI Rehabilitation Training centre, Whitworth Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 9
Date: Wednesday the 9th of November 2016
Time: 4:30pm to 6:30pm
Who this is for:
Anyone who reads Braille, studies Braille, or anyone with a general interest in the changes in the English Braille code.
The session will consist of short presentations, and lots of time for questions and answers, and of course time to work with UEB yourself.
