The group visited NCBI Head office in Whitworth Road for a celebratory lunch with Chris White, (CEO of NCBI), Finbarr Roche, (Head of Retail and Property), Ruairi McGinley, (Director of Corporate Services) and Janet Kavanagh (Area Manager).
Assistive Technologies provided by NCBI
The Volunteers were given a look into the services that are provided thanks to their contribution. They were given a tour of the training centre, and learned all about Braille and the different assistive technologies provided by NCBI and that are available to people who are blind and vision impaired.
