Would you like to look stunning at your Debs for under €50?
Get along to the upcoming National Council for the Blind in Ireland (NCBI) evening dress extravaganza and you CAN!
You will be belle of the ball if you manage to get your hands on some of the stunning dresses just delivered to the NCBI store in Longford. The evening dresses, part of a large consignment, are all brand new and will be unveiled at a special event on the 20th April.
The NCBI will open its doors for the special sale of the dresses at its premises in 6/7 Grafton St between 6 and 8pm and stock is expected to fly off the rails.
The dresses, which come in sizes 8 to 18, will delight anybody with upcoming evening occasions. Stunning labels like Kelsey Rose, Mark Leslie and Alexia Designs are just some of the top notch brands that will be sold at rock bottom prices. Try this on for size…a Mark Leslie dress that would normally sell for almost €300 will be on sale for just €70. Evening bags and shoes will also be available for sale on the evening.
Annette Telford, Manager of the Longford store says she is expecting a large turnout on the night. “People love coming into the NCBI shop, they know we have great items at great prices and the most important thing is that the funds raised go towards our services to blind and visually impaired people in Longford. We have 502 people with vision impairment in Longford so giving them the best service possible is paramount to us”.
“I am looking forward to the event, these dresses are really special .Our staff and volunteers here are flat out getting everything priced and ready to go out and there is a great buzz. People are guaranteed a bargain on the night”.
So, fabulous dresses at fabulous prices for a fabulous cause….what’s not to love!

NCBI is the national charity working for the rising number of people affected by sight loss in Ireland.
There are currently 51,718 people with impaired vision in Ireland in Ireland and this figure is rising. NCBI must raise €4 out of every €10 it spends on services.
Our 91 charity shops throughout the country make a vital contribution to our fundraising efforts.
The majority of people we work with have some remaining vision. Our aim is to help them use that vision to read, use technology, and get around independently or to manage with the everyday tasks we all take for granted, like cooking and shopping.
