From Limerick City Centre:
Proceed all the way up O’Connell Street (starting with Brown Thomas on your left hand side). When you pass the O’Connell Monument (which is about six blocks up from Brown Thomas), take the second turn left (St Joseph’s church is on the corner) onto St Joseph’s Street. At the end of this street you will come to a T junction; turn left. This is Edward Street. NCBI is 20 metres on your left hand side.
We are situated beside Clean Ireland Recycling.
Note: Street parking only. Discs available from O’Sullivans Pharmacy, 100 metres from NCBI.
From University Hospital Limerick (formerly Regional Hospital):
- Proceed towards Limerick city as far as Punches Cross.
- Take a right at the traffic lights at Punches Cross, and then an immediate left, which will take you onto Edward Street (towards the Railway Station).
- Continue on along Edward Street – you will pass Sarsfield Army Barracks on your left, and also on your left the turns for Wolfe Tone Street and St Joseph’s Street.
- You will then see a new apartment complex, again on your left. At street level are the offices of NCBI. We are beside Clean Ireland Recycling.
Note: Street parking only. Discs available from O’Sullivans Pharmacy, 100 metres from NCBI.
From Limerick Train and Bus Station:
At the front gate of the station, cross the road to the Railway Hotel. Turn left, cross the next junction (Mallow Street; there is a FÁS office on the corner) and continue straight ahead, keeping the railings of the People’s Park on your right hand side
Continue straight on into Edward Street. You will pass O’Sullivan’s Pharmacy, a Polish convenience store (Sami Swoi) and Clean Ireland Recycling (all on your right hand side). NCBI is next door to Clean Ireland Recycling.
From Shannon/Ennis:
As you come in the N18 from Ennis and Shannon take the third exit at the Coonagh Roundabout (Tesco) and enter Limerick via the Condell Road and the Shannon Bridge.
At the roundabout just after the bridge, take the third exit to go down the Dock Road. Once on the Dock Road take the third turn left (Alphonsus Street); the turn is just after Dolan’s Pub (also on the left).
Proceed up to the top of Alphonsus Street and keep going until you eventually come to a T junction (you will have gone through two intersections, one of which has traffic lights).
At the T junction, take a left (you are now on Edward Street) and after about a hundred metres you will see new apartments and offices on the left hand side of the street. NCBI is here on the ground floor (beside Clean Ireland Recycling).
Note: Street parking only. Discs available from O’Sullivans Pharmacy, 100 metres from NCBI.
