Children with Sight Loss and Additional Disabilities

Graphic: children with sight loss and additional disabilities

Our team work closely with other relevant professionals involved in the delivery of supports where a child or young person has a disability in addition to sight loss, where sight loss is a secondary disability or where there are complex needs.

Assessment and Intervention

In addition to functional vision and / or skills based assessments, our staff will provide specialised assessments depending on the needs of the child or young person. These may include:

  • Neurological or Cortical Vision Impairment
  • Visual Perception
  • Visual Field Neglect
  • Visual Motor Skills
