The European Blind Union (EBU) have found there are variations in services and supports to people with low vision across the EU. The EBU are partnering up with NCBI to learn more about the Irish situation and are inviting people living with low vision to attend focus groups to discuss their experiences, identify priority areas of concern and suggest solutions.
Participants will join an introductory online session on Tuesday 19th October at 11am-12pm. Then the final session will take place in person in the NCBI National Training Centre, Dublin on Wednesday 27th October at 11am-1pm.
It is really important to capture the views of a variety of people e.g. living with different eye conditions, in different parts of Ireland, of different ages etc.
There is a virtual focus group taking place on Thursday 28th for people who cannot attend the in person group.
If you have low vision and want to get involved, get in touch with us to find out more!
