10am, Come & Try Nature Mindfulness – Adults

This session will be delivered by Sarah Hourigan of Nature Therapy Ireland . Nature Therapy Ireland was founded in 2019 to share the physical and mental health benefits that can be experienced by exploring your connection to nature.

This session will allow you to connect with Nature from the comfort of your home.

3pm, Interactive SafeFood Nutrition Webinar – Adults

Safefood is an All-island body. Their role is to promote awareness and knowledge of food safety and nutrition on the island of Ireland.

For this webinar the Human Health and Nutrition team provide healthy eating advice and information.

They will answer any questions that participants may have in relation to healthy eating.

May 1st – 5th, MayFest 40k Challenge, Run, Walk or Cycle. Complete your activity anytime and submit your completed log to Vision Sports Ireland – spot prizes to be won – All ages.

May 1st , 10am, Family Dance Come & Try Session at 10am – All ages.

May 1st – 9:30 am – Introduction to Turbo with Triathlon Ireland – Adults

May 1st – 7th, (Not)Parkrun Celebration, complete your 5k during MayFest and log you achievements with parkrun and Vision Sports Ireland – spot prizes to be won – All ages.

May 1st, 12 noon, Youth Blind/VI Tennis Come & Try Session with Tennis Ireland for 8 – 16 years.

May 2nd, 8pm, Opening Ceremony, Reeling in the Years, Celebrating 40 Years of May Games / MayFest.

May 3rd, 10am, Yoga Come and Try Session – Adults

May 4th, 10am, Over 50’s Movement, Balance and Stretch, Come & Try Session – Adults

May 4th, 5pm, Blind/VI Tennis Webinar with Tennis Ireland and Sight and Sound Technology – one lucky attendee will win an Amazon Alexa – All ages.

May 5th, 10am, Falls prevention, Movement and Balance Come & Try Session – Adults

May 5th, 6:30pm, Zoom Fitness Come and Try Session – Adults
