NaviLens is an innovative digital signage system that enables people with vision impairment to gain information by simply pointing their phone at a code. There is no need for the camera to be close to, or focus on, the code. Any information can be linked to each individual code to give vital context and guidance to the app user.

At the event location, NCBI’s Tallaght office in Dublin, we have codes in place around the building with information about the surrounding environment to demonstrate to you how useful the codes can be in finding your way around. We will also show you how the codes can be used in other ways.

Download and open the NaviLens app and point your phone in the general direction of the code on the screen to get more information on the event that we have planned!

This ‘Come and Try’ event is in-person and free of charge but numbers are limited so please register through the RSVP button.

Who is it for? All welcome – NCBI service users, friends and family.
