
This programme covers a range of topics and practical strategies to support and empower individuals with vision loss.
This programme, held over six weeks for up to two hours per week, will assist you to find strategies to cope with your sight loss in the absence of being able to have face-to-face programmes. Weekly session will take place over the course of two hours between 11am and 4pm. More information on exact times will be provided to participants ahead of time.
The programme will cover:
- Understanding low vision
- Making better use of your vision-strategies to support you
- Daily living skills
- Technology and mobility
- Coping with vision loss/managing your emotions
A number of group sessions are planned for this year including starting:
- 14th March – 18th April
- 3rd May – 7th June
- 22nd August – 26 September
- 3rd October – 7th November
- 7th November – 12th December
