On Saturday, December 17th, the NCBI RISE Project will host the first-ever hurling event for players who are blind or visually impaired. Vision Sports Ireland will be collaborating with the RISE Project for this event.
The session will allow young people nationwide the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of hurling. Captain Declan Hannon along with members of the Limerick Senior team will help facilitate the event. The group will have a personalized closed session with the team to learn the basics of the sport. A team game will conclude the session. The event will be hosted in UL, on the Munster pitch near the Pavilion.

End Time: 12:30 pm.Please arrive 15 minutes early for registration.
The participants will enjoy a group lunch in the form of finger food, at the Pavilion.
Entry fee: Free
This is event is open to teenagers with mixed – no level of experience.
Spaces are limited and will be granted on a first come first serve basis.
