The RISE project established by NCBI is back with another family event!
The event will take place Saturday the 22nd of October 2022, in Killruddery Estate, Bray, Co Wicklow.
Please register for the event through our Microsoft Form registration page.
This is an outdoor event that will champion team involvement, a little competition, fun filled prizes to win and will finish with a group lunch. All activities have been adapted to suit those who are blind or visually impaired. The event will include many exciting activities with obstacles and team challenges on the same site of TV’s Ireland’s FITTEST FAMILY.
Transport will be available at Bray Station. A bus will transfer families to and from the site if required.
Due to limited availability only one family member from each family will be able to partake in all the activities with their child/teenager. If a family member does not wish to take part, an extended family member can take their place. They must be 21 years and over.
This event is open to 9-16 years with a vision impairment. Lunch and drinks will be provided on the day.
An additional family member may join the event but cannot partake in the activities. Instead they can walk the grounds, visit the grain store café, farm shop, gardens, and they can reconvene for our group lunch.
This event is free to attend. Please give your family’s full commitment if a spot has been reserved for them. If you cannot attend, please email email@example.com as soon as possible. Otherwise other family members are missing out on the opportunity to attend the event, as spaces are limited.
