The NCBI Vision Awards, established this year as part of our 90th Anniversary, will recognise consistent, committed and high standard performance from individuals and organisations in a range of categories.
NCBI aims to celebrate and highlight individuals and organisations that have integrated inclusive, innovative and sustainable practices into their work. The hope is that by doing so, others are encouraged others to think about how they can have a similar positive impact in their own field.
Nominations can be made by individuals and families who avail of NCBI services, as well as employees, volunteers, advocates and members of the public.
The Vision Awards categories aim to highlight the importance of a whole of society approach to celebrating inclusivity looking at all areas from industry, sport, arts, climate change and health services.
If you know an individual or organisation who has made a significant or exceptional contribution in any of the four categories below, and who is deserving of recognition, please nominate them today.
Vision Awards categories:
- ‘Visible Difference’ Industry: recognises exemplary contribution by a company or organisation in creating an inclusive approach for people who are blind or vision impaired.
- Clinical/Social Care: recognise both individuals and organisations who have developed exceptional services in health and social care for people with a vision impairment.
- Circular Economy: recognises the work of individuals and companies tackling challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution.
